I recently quit my job about a month ago, and the job hunt has been incredibly tough. I've been applying to even minimum wage positions, but I keep waking up to rejection notices flooding my inbox. So far, I've gone to seven interviews, but nothing has panned out. Just today, I had an interview that was scheduled by their AI system, only to be told it was a mistake and that they filled the position yesterday. I drove an hour to get there, and despite receiving notifications to arrive on time, they wouldn’t even consider interviewing me. They didn’t bother to call or text to cancel, and all I got was a suggestion to reapply if another position opens up. I'm not a senior nor a full-time student (just part-time), but I know I have to keep pushing forward. I hope something comes up soon.
