I just got placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) at my job, and honestly, I feel like it's just a matter of time before I'm let go. The new management this year has been tough to please, and no matter what I do, it seems like I'm not meeting their expectations. I've already started job searching because I have a gut feeling that this PIP is more of a formality before my termination. I'm not too familiar with how PIPs work, but from what I've heard, they often signal that the company is trying to manage you out. Some advice I've seen suggests that I should make my job search a priority and not rely on the PIP process to save my position. I'm feeling quite stressed about it all, but I know I need to stay proactive and find a new opportunity before things get worse.
