Navigating the Job Market: My Struggles Applying for Entry-Level Positions in East Texas

I've been actively searching for entry-level jobs in East Texas and it's been quite the challenge. I've applied to various positions, including warehouse jobs, retail, cafes, and trade helper roles, but it feels like I'm hitting a wall. Many places advertise that they're hiring, yet after submitting my applications, I often hear nothing back. The pay ranges I've encountered are between $12 to $18 an hour, but it's frustrating that many of these entry-level jobs still require previous experience. I've noticed that some listings on Indeed already have a huge number of applicants, making the competition even tougher. I'm really curious about how long it has taken others to land a job, especially in smaller towns or rural areas. I'm wondering if applying online is the best route or if going in person, networking, or using other methods has proven more effective. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
