I’m currently in a tough spot at my job. I feel overwhelmed and am seriously considering quitting, but I’m struggling with the idea of leaving my team behind. I work for a company where I genuinely respect my boss and colleagues, and they’ve always supported me. However, the demands of my role have become too much, especially with the challenging projects I've been assigned. It's affecting my mental and physical health, and I find myself working late into the evenings instead of spending time with my family, which is heartbreaking. I haven't started looking for a new job yet because I feel stuck. I respect my coworkers and feel like I owe them my best, but I don’t believe I’m performing well enough, which adds to my stress. I wake up with a heavy conscience, even on my days off, and it's exhausting. I’ve been advised that I shouldn’t quit without another job lined up, and I know I need to update my resume and start applying. But I’m still grappling with the emotional weight of potentially leaving a workplace that has been so supportive. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you handle it?
