I recently applied for an MLT position at my former hospital after stepping away from the bench to take on a supervisor role, which turned out to be a poor fit for me. I have about 6 years of experience in hospital labs, and after realizing that managing people isn't my strength, I decided to return to a more hands-on role. I interviewed for an MLT position a while back and felt like I nailed it, but unfortunately, I was rejected. That was a tough blow. However, less than a month later, another MLT position opened up at the same hospital, and I quickly updated my resume and applied again. I'm trying to stay grounded this time since I was humbled by the last rejection, but I can't help feeling excited about this opportunity. I'm really hoping for some positive vibes as I want this job so much!
