I recently received a job offer and I'm feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. The company suggested that I put in my two weeks' notice on Monday so I can start my new role on August 31. However, I'm worried about a couple of things: what if my current employer decides to let me go as soon as I hand in my notice, or what if the new job offer falls through? It's been a while since I've had to navigate this process, especially since Covid, and the uncertainty is definitely weighing on me.
