Seeking a low-responsibility 9 to 5 job after recent layoff from director role

I was laid off in early September from my director-level position, and while I initially experienced a wave of panic and stress from the sudden loss, I've come to realize that I don't miss the job at all. It's surprising to me, but I don't feel any longing for what I left behind. My main concern now is finding a job to support myself in the USA. As I reflect on my career, I've discovered that I no longer want to be in a position where I have to make decisions for others or navigate challenging work environments. I have the skills to handle that, but what I truly desire now is a role that is less visible and comes with less responsibility. I'm looking for a workplace filled with quiet, reserved individuals who are generally honest and normal, rather than high-performing colleagues who thrive on competition. I want to work in an environment where people are content to return home to their families after work, and I’m seeking guidance as I feel exhausted from working in isolation while trying to protect my team. I no longer have ambitions for a career or a mission; I simply want a straightforward 9 to 5 job that provides a paycheck, even if it means earning one-third of my previous salary.
