I had a job interview today with a well-known non-profit foundation for a position that is officially part-time, requiring just 4 hours a day. However, during the interview, they made it clear that the role involves daily travel across multiple towns and even occasional overnight stays. They mentioned that while the job is listed as part-time, the actual work could extend from early morning until late afternoon, or until all tasks are completed. On top of that, I would need to handle all the related paperwork after the workday. To add to my frustration, they do not provide any transportation for this role. I can't help but feel that this is a complete joke and possibly exploitation, especially considering the current job market.
