Planning My Out-of-State Job Search as a Nursing Graduate in Texas

I'm currently in nursing school and set to graduate this summer. I live in Texas but I'm eager to move out of state after graduation. I've accepted that I need to stay here for at least a year post-graduation, but I'm looking for guidance on how to navigate the job search process for out-of-state positions. I'm particularly interested in advice from those already working in hospital settings. I want to know when I should start my job search and if my resume should mention my current location differently. I'm also curious about how interviews are typically conducted for out-of-state applicants—would it be a disadvantage to request a virtual interview? Since I'm in an apartment, I need to have a plan in place within the next 60 days, but I realize that transitioning to a new job isn't instantaneous. Would it be unreasonable to ask for a month to relocate after accepting an offer? I'm trying to figure out a realistic timeline for this whole process. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
