Navigating unemployment claim challenges after job loss in Michigan

I was fired from my job in Michigan just two weeks into September, and I'm still waiting to receive any unemployment benefits. I've certified my claims four times, but they all show "open-non monetary issues." I think this is because I didn't realize I needed to register to work. I certified my claim two weeks earlier than I should have, as I was supposed to register by September 11th but didn't do so until the 14th. After my initial claim was denied, I protested the determination, but it was denied again, so I appealed. Now, I'm just waiting for my hearing date with the Michigan Office of Administrative Hearings (MOAHR). Since October 19th, I've been in limbo, and although I reached out via email, I understand they are supposed to contact me to schedule the hearing. When I was let go, I filled out an offboarding packet that included information for my employer to submit to the Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA), and that has been completed. I suspect the issue mainly stems from my late registration with Michigan Works. I've since provided proof of my registration and even visited the office, where I was told that my claim might be on hold due to my employer not submitting necessary documents or because the agency is overwhelmed. I'm feeling really stressed about this situation. If my only option is to wait for the hearing with MOAHR, how long does it usually take for them to schedule a hearing? This whole process is really affecting me.
