I recently applied for a job that seemed promising and was excited when the owner reached out to discuss my availability. I confirmed that I could work the specified days and hours, but then I was left hanging with no further communication. The next day, I checked my application status only to find it marked as "withdrawn"—and I definitely didn't do that. I'm starting to feel really frustrated with the job search process. I put in my resume and cover letter, answered an automated skills question, and yet it feels like I'm hitting a wall. The job listing is still active, which adds to my confusion. I'm wondering if I should reach out to the company to ask about the withdrawal or just move on and focus on other opportunities. It's tough out here, especially when I know I have the experience they're looking for.
