I recently applied for a job that I was really excited about. After going through a phone interview, I made it to an in-person interview, which I thought went well. Unfortunately, I received a rejection email about a week later. I understand that I might be younger and have less experience than other candidates, but I was still one of the 8 selected out of 55 applicants for the interview stage, which was encouraging. Now, I've noticed that the company has reposted the position, and I learned from a contact there that someone is leaving unexpectedly, creating another opening. I'm contemplating whether I should reapply for the same position even though I was previously rejected. I don't want to appear foolish, but I feel strongly about this role. I've seen advice suggesting that it's worth a shot to reapply, as the worst they can say is no. I'm leaning toward submitting my application again, considering I made it quite far in the process before. It seems like a good opportunity to show my continued interest in the role.
