I recently applied for two positions at the same company, as I felt qualified for both roles. After completing a first-round interview, I was asked which position I preferred, and I proceeded to have a virtual panel interview for that preferred role. I was informed that I would hear back soon regarding a potential on-site visit. However, just yesterday, about a week after the panel interview, I noticed a change in the application status on Workday for my preferred job. It switched from 'In Progress' to blank, while the other job I applied for still shows 'In Progress'. When I click on the now blank job, a pale green bar appears next to 'Application Status'. I'm left wondering what this means, as I'm trying to decipher the implications of this status change.
