Navigating uncertainty after surviving layoffs: Seeking advice and support

I just completed my first month after narrowly avoiding redundancy at my company, which has about 300 employees. Last month, they decided to cut 15 positions from a redundancy pool of 20, and I was fortunate enough to remain employed. However, the team I worked with for the past two years was sidelined due to a lack of funding, resulting in 8 out of 10 of my teammates being let go. Only one other technical colleague and I were spared this time. While I felt relief initially, it quickly turned into anxiety as the company is currently undergoing restructuring. For the past two weeks, I’ve had no work assigned to me, and with my manager on vacation for the next two weeks, I’m left without guidance. To keep myself busy, I’ve been picking up random tasks, but I’m hesitant to reach out to others for help, fearing how it might be perceived after the recent layoffs. This is my first experience with layoffs, and I’m feeling a mix of curiosity and concern about what to expect next. Will there be another round of redundancies soon? Am I at risk of being let go since I was already in the redundancy pool? I’m contemplating whether to wait for my manager’s return or start looking for new job opportunities. It’s a stressful time, and I appreciate any kind advice.
