I've been feeling really lost in my job search lately. I have a background in writing, communications, management, and recruiting, and I'm based in the US. My biggest concern is finding a role that doesn't require me to work more than 40 hours a week. Every job I've had so far has had those expectations, and it's been exhausting. I'm also looking to make at least $50k a year to cover my mortgage. I'm starting to wonder if positions like this even exist anymore or if everything is just over 40 hours. It feels pretty hopeless at the moment. I hold a bachelor's degree in Technical Writing with a minor in Communication Arts, so I'm hoping that will help me find something suitable.
