After six months of searching, I finally received and accepted a job offer! I've been on the hunt since February, submitting around 300 applications. I went through four rounds of interviews for a fully remote position, with the final interview being with the VP on July 29. I didn't get any updates on the timeline, so I reached out to the recruiter on August 4. The next day, I was thrilled to hear that the team wanted to extend an offer to me. I'm really excited about this new opportunity, especially because of the amazing benefits they offer. They have an open PTO policy, and the average employee takes about 25 days off each year. On top of that, there are 14 paid public holidays, 4 floating holidays, and I get one Friday off every month dedicated to mental health wellness.
