However, I'm worried that if I don’t get the job, it could damage my relationship with them. Another option is to wait until I can meet with them on Tuesday, discuss my interest in the position, and then submit my application afterward. This could risk my application being overlooked, but it would help maintain a good relationship with my supervisors. I’m also contemplating letting another supervisor know about my application since my direct ones are unavailable, but I’m hesitant because I prefer to keep this matter between my immediate supervisors and myself. Right now, I'm leaning towards the second option, but I'm feeling anxious about the timing and the potential consequences. I’m 29 and still relatively early in my career, with about 2.5 years of experience, so I really want to make the right move here.
