The layoffs were announced via 6am emails, confirming the rumors that had been circulating for some time. I work in the financial tech sector, and this situation raises significant concerns for me, particularly regarding the security implications of outsourcing to a single country in South Asia, which is known for its corruption issues. This trend not only affects the quality of work but also limits skill development for professionals in the West and Europe.
