I was told by the store manager on Monday that I was hired, but they mentioned that the work contract wouldn’t be sent until today or Saturday. I met with the first store manager last Friday, and after a positive meeting, I was asked to meet the second store manager. Just a few hours later, I received a call from her confirming that they wanted to hire me. She explained that they were hiring multiple new staff members and needed to coordinate start dates for training, which made sense to me. Now that it’s Friday, I’m feeling a bit anxious about not having received the contract yet. I know it’s still within the timeframe they provided, but I can’t help but worry. Is it normal to feel this way in situations like this?
