Navigating a Career Change: Balancing Mental Health and Financial Security

I currently work in a sales role where I earn a good income, working just four days a week with three consecutive days off. The base salary, along with commissions and bonuses, makes it a lucrative position. However, the job has taken a toll on my mental health, leaving me feeling drained, anxious, and depressed. I've been in sales for about 3-4 years, and I'm starting to feel overwhelmed by the constant pressure of KPIs. Despite my success in sales, I’m contemplating a career change. I don’t have any degrees beyond high school, and I’ve been working full-time since graduating. Now, I’m part-time but earning well, which complicates my decision. While I want to transition to a more laid-back role, like admin or reception, the available positions pay significantly less than what I currently make. I also worry about returning to full-time hours after being part-time for so long; the thought of a five-day workweek feels daunting. The jobs I’m looking at would leave me with barely enough to cover my expenses. I’m really torn between staying in my current job for the financial security or pursuing something that might be better for my mental health. I feel lost and desperately need guidance on what to do.
