Excited for my first job interview as a language teacher this week!

I just had my first job interview ever! I'm 20 years old and a recent graduate with a degree in acting. I knew the job market would be tough, especially in the arts, so I've been exploring alternatives. I decided to apply to a language school to teach kids, leveraging my fluency in English while living in a non-English speaking country. I thought it would be a great opportunity to use my artistic skills to create a fun and engaging learning environment. The interview is this week, and while I'm really excited, I'm also quite nervous. I genuinely want to do well because I would love this job. I've been seeking advice on how to prepare, and I've received some great tips, like maintaining a positive attitude, being personable, and clearly communicating my passion for teaching despite my limited experience. I’m focusing on how to showcase my strong recommendations and my ability to create engaging lessons. I also need to ensure my background check is clear and that my social media presence is private. It’s a lot to think about, but I’m determined to make a good impression!
