Navigating the appeal process after wrongful termination from a coffee retailer

I was recently fired from my job at a major coffee retailer for being 10 minutes late to a supervisor meeting, which I had notified my team about via text. This was particularly frustrating because I had no documented attendance issues prior to this incident, and my tardiness was not related to my actual shift hours. I was already on a final warning for reasons unrelated to attendance, which added to the stress of the situation. The meeting I was late to had a history of being postponed or canceled, and I have evidence from our supervisor group chat showing that my peers often communicated their lateness in the same manner without repercussions. In fact, on the day I was late, the meeting started late, and my manager even acknowledged the busy environment by saying, "it's been busy so no worries". Despite this, I was fired four days later, and my initial application for unemployment was denied. I’m now starting the appeal process and trying to gather all my evidence, including instances where other supervisors were not disciplined for similar issues. I’m looking for advice on what to expect moving forward and whether I have a solid case for my appeal.
