I was supposed to start my new job as a project coordinator on September 28, but due to construction delays, my start date has been pushed back to October 26. I completely understand that these things happen, but I'm really struggling financially and can't afford to wait another few weeks without any income. I'm considering asking if I could start training online or do some remote work in the meantime, even though I can't physically be at the location yet. I really want to keep this job and don't want to seem difficult, but I genuinely need the income. I'm feeling a bit stuck and unsure about how to approach this.
