I have been working at a well-known international organization for the past two years, and my contract is set to end on September 30th. Recently, I found out that my colleagues received contract renewals, but mine was not renewed. After following up with my line manager, I learned that my position was eliminated from the new structure. Unfortunately, I won't be considered for either of the two available positions, one managerial and one junior. My line manager mentioned that this decision was influenced by a personality conflict I have with a Senior Advisor at HQ, who seems to have been pushing for my departure. I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar situation and can share their insights or advice on how to navigate this challenging time.
