Today, I was supposed to have a screening call with a recruiter for a Deal Analyst position at Workday. I was really looking forward to it since she had reached out to me first and mentioned that my background was a great fit. I scheduled the call for 3:15 PM through her Calendly and planned my afternoon around it, even skipping a much-needed nap to be prepared. However, just two minutes before the call, at 3:13 PM, I received a message asking to reschedule for next week. There was no phone call, no attempt to keep the appointment—just a last-minute request to push it out several days. This has left me feeling a bit unsettled, especially since I can't find the job posting on Workday's career site. I’m now trying to figure out if this is just a case of busy recruiters or if it's a red flag about the entire process. I’m considering whether to continue with this recruiter if they apologize and reschedule, or if I should move on due to this first impression.
