Submitted 80 job applications in six days, seeking insights on interview responses

I recently got laid off and have been on a job search spree. In just the past six days, I've submitted around 80 applications for various positions that I believe I'm qualified for. So far, I've only received one response from a company that wants to move forward with an initial phone interview. I'm starting to wonder if this is typical for the current job market. I'm really curious to hear about others' experiences—how many applications did it take you to land your first interview? Are others also applying to many jobs but not getting much interest? It feels overwhelming, and I'm just trying to gauge what's normal right now.
