Navigating Unemployment Benefits After Misunderstanding at Remote Call Center

I was recently terminated from my position at a remote call center in Georgia due to a misunderstanding regarding headset functionality. Our company transitioned from MAX to Amazon Web Services, but they failed to clearly communicate that the mute button on our headsets was no longer effective for transparency reasons. During a call, a customer overheard something they shouldn't have, which led to my termination. I'm now wondering if I can prove that I was unaware of this change and whether that will affect my eligibility for unemployment benefits with the Department of Labor. I've heard that I might be able to appeal the disqualification, but I'm unsure about the process.
