Struggling with IT Interviews: Seeking Advice for Corporate Role Success

I've been facing some challenges with interviews lately, and it's starting to get really frustrating. Thankfully, I'm able to secure interviews and get past the initial screening calls, but when it comes to the actual interviews, I feel like I just bomb them. My background is in IT, where I've worked in various roles like desktop support, break-fix, and as a traveling technician. However, I've always landed jobs through networking, which had a much more casual interview process. Now, I'm aiming for a corporate role, but it feels like I'm hitting a wall. I've noticed that I've been undercompensated for my skillset, and I believe I could fit into most tier 2 roles. The problem arises when interviewers start asking about specific platforms, software, or procedures that I'm not familiar with, like their ticketing software or Azure. This makes me feel like my experience is working against me. I've provided support to a wide range of clients, from regular residential users to CEOs and celebrities, and I've received positive feedback. Yet, I'm struggling to translate that experience into the corporate environment. Just today, during an interview, I was asked about a mobile device imaging tool I had never heard of. I asked for clarification, and while I mentioned related software I was familiar with, it felt like my answer wasn't satisfactory. It seems like companies are looking for specific keywords to check off their lists, and I'm not hitting those marks. I even found myself slipping in random keywords during the interview, which is not how I want to present myself. I had another interview recently that was supposed to be a screening but turned out to be recorded and had a set list of questions. I wasn't prepared for that, and it threw me off. I had to ask clarifying questions about terms like 'active directory' and 'Azure,' but it seemed to confuse the interviewer as well. I'm just trying to understand how to navigate these interviews better. I've had about 10 interviews in the last two weeks, and I'm really missing something. I've been looking for advice online and trying to rephrase my responses, but it just doesn't come naturally to me. I want to have genuine conversations during interviews rather than feeling like I'm just checking boxes. I'm wondering if I'm applying for the wrong roles since they seem to align with my experience. If anyone in a technical role has advice on how to move up in this field, I'd really appreciate it.
