Navigating a tough job decision: stay in a steady role or take a new opportunity?

I'm currently in a tough spot with my job situation. I work in a role that many would consider steady, with decent pay and good benefits. I have a flexible schedule, which I appreciate, and my coworkers and management are great. However, I'm struggling because I just don't excel at my job. It's been a blow to my confidence since I've never really had that experience before. While I haven't received any formal warnings, I can't shake the feeling that my time here is limited. The work itself is draining, and despite my attempts to engage more by joining committees and volunteering for events, I still dread the daily tasks. It's affecting my self-esteem significantly. To cope, I've started applying for other positions, mainly to feel a bit more secure. I'm 23 years old with a bachelor's degree and about five years of varied work experience, but the job market is tough right now, and I've had little success with callbacks. Recently, though, I landed an interview for a role in a field I've been eager to break into. After two interviews, they offered me the job the next day, and the pay was at the top of their range. However, I'm facing a dilemma. This new job comes with lower pay, fewer benefits, and no flexible hours. Plus, I have no way of knowing if the company culture will be supportive or not. I believe I might perform better in this new role, but there's a risk it could turn out to be a terrible fit. I'm torn between staying in a job where I feel I'm failing or taking a leap into the unknown with a potentially worse situation. Both paths seem risky, and without family to consult, I'm feeling quite lost on how to make this decision.
