I'm seeking advice regarding my current job situation. I graduated with my master's degree in December, but I've been working part-time in my field since October. I was initially offered a full-time position but opted to stay part-time to focus on my thesis. Since then, I've been promised a promotion, but there has been no progress. Recently, I interviewed for a promotion, only to find out that I was not selected, and someone from outside the department was hired for the role before I even had my interview. It seems like the director is not interested in investing in my growth, despite my managers advocating for me. I'm starting to feel like they might be trying to push me out. I've begun applying to other positions, but I'm looking for thoughts on how to navigate this situation. I know my worth and I'm prepared to advocate for myself.
