Concerns About Increasing PIPs and Potential Changes at Coursera

I currently work at Coursera and I've been noticing an unsettling trend lately. There seems to be an increase in performance improvement plans (PIPs) being issued across various teams. I've also heard whispers about voluntary exit offers being presented to some employees. Given Coursera's history of restructuring, I'm starting to wonder if there are broader organizational changes on the horizon that haven't been officially communicated yet. I’m not trying to speculate or point fingers at anyone, but I would really appreciate hearing from others who might have similar experiences or insights. It feels like there’s a quiet tension in the air, especially with management becoming more focused on metrics that they previously overlooked. It’s that uncomfortable period before potential layoffs, and it’s definitely causing some stress among my colleagues and me.
