I'm currently an EMT in Florida, but I've hit a rough patch. I just started my job, and due to some medical issues, I might not be able to continue in EMS, especially since I can't drive commercially anymore. This has left me feeling really broken and depressed. I genuinely love working in EMS; it's the only job I've found that I enjoy and that pays well. I've tried various trades and retail jobs, but none of them resonate with me. Now, I'm at a crossroads and need to find a new job that requires minimal schooling or training but still pays decently. I'm feeling lost and like a failure, and I'm open to any suggestions. The only idea I have is to look into the Department of Corrections, even though I know I wouldn't enjoy that work. I'd rather take a job I hate that pays well than struggle financially. I just want to make enough to save aggressively and retire as soon as possible. If anyone has ideas for jobs that fit this criteria, I would really appreciate it.
