I was laid off in mid-June from a top PBC and it really hit me hard. I felt disheartened and flustered, and I struggled with how to tell my friends and peers about it. When I confided in a close relative, they mocked me, which only added to my shame. However, I kept pushing through and I'm excited to share that I received a job offer just three weeks after my last day, and it's for a higher position with a 30% increase in my base salary! I know how demoralizing this process can be, but I want to remind everyone that there is light at the end of the tunnel. If I can make it out, so can you! I’m currently in the final interview stages with a couple of other companies, hoping to secure another offer soon.
