I recently received a call from a company in Noida Sector 90 for a face-to-face interview scheduled for the 27th. I’m a fresher looking for MERN/Full Stack roles and have been unemployed for 15 months, so I’m eager to get back into the workforce. During the initial call, I answered some basic MERN questions, and they asked if I was comfortable relocating to Noida, which I am, as it’s about 150 km from my home. However, I have some concerns about the company. After doing some research, I found very little information about them online, and they seem to have only been operating since 2023 with a small team. The salary they offer for freshers is around ₹1.5–2.1 LPA, and the work schedule is 6 days a week from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. I also came across some employee reviews that mentioned issues with overtime and delayed salary payments. I’m torn about whether I should attend the interview, considering I might not want to accept the job if those reviews are accurate. On one hand, I’ve been out of work for a long time, and getting any opportunity feels crucial. On the other hand, I don’t want to waste time and money traveling for an interview that I might not follow through on. I’m looking for advice on whether I should go for the interview or skip it.
