I'm currently working as a marketer at a corporate training and talent optimization company, and I'm feeling really frustrated with the toxic environment here. The COO, who has no background in marketing, constantly pushes his ideas and reacts angrily whenever anyone disagrees with him. It's disheartening because no one else in the company seems willing to stand up to him, even though the CEO supports his behavior. I've tried to voice my concerns a couple of times, but he continues to undermine my input. The director has told him not to interfere, yet he still does. I'm at my wit's end and it's making my job incredibly difficult. I've started looking for a new position, but so far, I haven't received any interview calls.
