I recently received a job offer after being out of work for just a week and a half. While I appreciate the opportunity, I'm feeling hesitant about accepting it. The interview process wasn't great; the hiring manager was not very kind, and the expectations for long-term commitment (2+ years) seem quite demanding without knowing much about the company. I have savings that can support me for a while, but I'm concerned about stepping into a potentially toxic work environment just because I feel pressured to accept a job quickly. My ultimate goal is to transition into a role within art galleries or museums, which makes me question whether I should take this offer or continue searching for something that truly excites me. I'm torn between the need for immediate employment and the desire to find a position that aligns with my career aspirations.
