Seeking Guidance on Transitioning to Digital Asset Management Career

I am currently trying to pivot into Digital Asset Management (DAM) and seeking advice on how to break into this field. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and over ten years of experience in photography, including roles as a post-production lead and retoucher for various photographers and a magazine. Currently, I work as a registrar in the fine art photography sector, where I manage a large inventory of works both digitally and physically. However, my financial situation is challenging, as I juggle two jobs—contract retouching and registrar work—to make ends meet. I've been advised to look for digital asset coordination positions on job boards, but I'm also considering further education. I found a 16-course webinar offered by Henry Stewart for $999, which feels quite expensive for me. I'm torn between investing in these courses to enhance my knowledge of the industry or continuing to apply for coordinator roles and networking with professionals to get my foot in the door. I'm reaching out for any advice or insights from those who have experience in DAM. What would you recommend?
