Reflecting on a bizarre interview experience and company culture mismatch

I recently heard a story from a friend who interviewed for a job at a company where the experience was quite bizarre. During the interview, one of the hiring managers was noticeably distracted, chewing on his nails and constantly checking his phone, which never seemed to go off or vibrate. The atmosphere felt cold and combative, as the HM only asked 1-3 questions. My friend also learned that the company doesn't really offer breaks, and if you do get one, it's only for 15 minutes. They threw around the usual phrases about being a supportive team, but it felt insincere. After this experience, my friend decided to pass on the opportunity, feeling that the company's culture didn't align with what they were looking for.
