Today, I took a moment to help a former co-worker who was laid off, just like me. I encouraged him to apply for the same job I’m currently deep into the interview process for. There are multiple positions open, and while he has experience that could make him a strong competitor, I couldn't ignore the fact that he has three small children to support. In this tough job market, I believe we both need all the help we can get. I really hope that both of us find success and get hired soon. I guess I’m just putting my faith in karma to do its thing!
