Navigating the Emotional Impact of Job Loss After a Performance Improvement Plan

I recently lost my position after going through a performance improvement plan, even though I was meeting or exceeding expectations. It feels really unfair, and I'm struggling to process it all. I’ve been looking for new opportunities, but it’s proving to be quite painful. I’ve seen others share similar experiences, where the PIP was just a way for the company to push them out despite their performance. I'm trying to stay positive and remind myself that a job is just a job, but it's tough right now. I know I need to take some time to heal and focus on moving forward.
