Navigating Job Challenges at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. While Exploring New Opportunities

I recently joined J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in Mumbai and I'm currently on probation. While the company has a solid reputation, my experience has been quite mixed. One of the office locations, Malad, has made my daily routine feel exhausting, whereas the other location is significantly better. However, the real challenge has been my manager, who is based in Bangalore. During a conversation, he mentioned, "If you were in Bangalore, I'd show you..." This comment felt more threatening than supportive, leaving me discouraged rather than motivated. Since that conversation, I've been questioning whether this is the right environment for me. I've started applying to roles at companies like Third Bridge, Guidepoint, and GLG, as they align better with my long-term interests in research and strategy. I'm torn because leaving J.P. Morgan during my probation period could negatively impact my CV, but staying in a non-supportive environment doesn't feel right either. I'm seeking honest opinions from anyone who has faced a similar situation. Would you stay and try to push through, or leave for a better opportunity?
