Applied for new jobs after a challenging experience at my daycare position

I've been working at a daycare for a little over two months now, and I'm really struggling with my boss. At first, she seemed nice, but things took a turn in my second week when she told me I needed to smile more when I came in. I don't get why I have to put on a smile for everyone else when I'm there for the kids, who I do smile for. Recently, she even questioned my personality and whether I talk to the kids, which is ridiculous because that's literally my job. Things got worse when my car broke down, and I had to take a day off to get it towed. When I returned, she greeted me with a sarcastic "welcome to work" and continued to be mean throughout the day. One incident that really upset me was when she threw my clipboard on the floor instead of just telling me it was in the wrong place. There have been other moments too, like when I forgot to take the trash out one night. I apologized, but she keeps bringing it up every time I come in, making me feel like I'm constantly under scrutiny. Just the other day, I was helping kids eat, and she asked me to assist another teacher instead, leaving me to deal with a kid who was throwing a tantrum. It felt like she didn't care about the help I needed. I had to take a day off for a doctor's appointment recently, and I'm dreading going back because I feel like she'll treat me poorly again. I've already started applying for new jobs—about 6 or 7—and even had an interview last night. My grandma thinks I should confront my boss instead of just leaving, but honestly, I'm feeling like I need to get out of this situation as soon as possible.
