Navigating a tough decision between aerospace and tech startup job offers

Today, I faced a tough decision regarding my job offers as a new BSEE grad. I recently signed an offer with an aerospace company for a highly technical engineering role that aligns perfectly with my long-term career goals. The position offers a great career trajectory, stable hours, and is located in a beautiful coastal area. I was genuinely excited about it. However, just a week later, I received a surprise offer from a tech startup that is about $20k higher than my signed offer. While the pay is tempting, the role comes with its downsides: it’s located in a remote area, demands crazy hours (60-80 hours a week), and would likely steer my career in a direction I’m not interested in pursuing long-term. Now, I’m grappling with whether I should reach out to the recruiter at the aerospace company to discuss the competing offer and see if they can increase my base salary by a few thousand dollars. I really want to stay with Offer A, but leaving that extra $20k on the table feels painful. I’m considering my options carefully, knowing I could always fall back on Offer B if needed, but I’m also aware of the risks involved. I was thrilled about Offer A when I accepted it, but this situation has definitely put me in a dilemma.
