I’ve been job hunting for a while now, and I’m honestly at my wit's end. I came across a dishwasher position that claimed 'no experience required,' but the job listing was a total joke. They wanted two references for a dishwasher role! Seriously? It felt more like a list of demands than a job description. They expected me to work weekends and holidays, which is already a huge ask. And for all that, the only perk was a measly 20% discount on meals, but only during non-peak hours. I’m just trying to find a job so I can pay my bills, but it seems like employers are treating candidates like we’re lucky to even apply. I’m tired of this nonsense where they act like it’s more than just a job but give so little in return. It’s frustrating to see such high expectations for such low-paying work.
