I recently experienced some frustration during my job search as an H1B visa holder. I've been receiving rejection emails stating that the company found a more qualified candidate, but I can't help but feel that the real reason might be related to visa sponsorship issues. It's disheartening to think that my qualifications might not even be the main factor. I wish companies would be upfront about their sponsorship policies instead of leaving candidates in the dark. A simple note saying, "This position is not eligible for sponsorship," would provide clarity and help me focus on improving my resume or skills where necessary, rather than wondering if I need to change my entire approach. Honesty in the hiring process would go a long way.
