I recently filed for unemployment in Connecticut and have a vacation planned from October 31st to November 6th. I'm planning to certify for my benefits before I leave on the 6th, but I'm unsure about how to handle the certification for the week I'm away. I intend to skip that week since I'll be on vacation. I received some advice suggesting that unless I inform the unemployment agency about my travel, they won't know I'm away. However, I'm also concerned about accessing their portal from abroad, as it might get blocked due to being on a foreign IP address. I appreciate any insights on this!
