I recently accepted a job offer with a start date of September 8th, but during that time, I was still actively interviewing for other positions. Just yesterday, I received a response from a company I’m very interested in, and they informed me that my final interview is scheduled for the week I’m supposed to start my new role. I initially thought the interview was tomorrow, but it turns out it’s during the week of September 10th. I’m unsure how to approach this situation. Should I ask to reschedule the interview? I’m concerned about how this might affect how companies perceive me, especially since I already accepted an offer. I want to be transparent with them but also don’t want to come off as unprofessional or be disregarded. Any advice on how to navigate this would be greatly appreciated!
