Navigating interview concerns about long hours and work-life balance

I'm currently in the interview process for a role that I believe I would excel in, given my relevant experience. The company seems intriguing, and the pay range is appealing, with the top end reaching $100K. However, I'm taken aback by the proposed working hours of 8:30am to 6:30pm, five days a week, which totals 50 hours. Even if I factor in an hour for lunch, that's still 45 hours, which is a significant increase from my usual 10am to 6pm schedule. This change in hours is concerning as I worry about the impact on my social life and mental health. I'm contemplating how to approach this during the negotiation phase. Should I seek clarification on the working hours to see if there's flexibility, or even discuss the possibility of remote work? I want to keep an open mind about this opportunity, but I also need to consider my well-being.
