Seeking Advice and Support for My First Job Search in Retail and Cleaning

I'm entering the workforce for the first time and could really use some advice and encouragement. I've been through a few work programs, but they didn't lead to employment, just some experience for my resume. I'm focusing on retail and cleaning jobs and have crafted a functional resume that highlights my skills in a positive way. I have nice clothes and take care of my appearance, and my therapist has told me I interview well, which gives me some confidence. I understand that interviewing is just about having a conversation. I've been advised to apply directly on company websites instead of using job boards like Indeed, and I've done quite a bit of research on the hiring process. However, I still feel overwhelmed by the complexity of it all. I'm looking for guidance on a few things: 1. How do I effectively find and secure a job? 2. How can I manage the anxiety and fear that comes with starting work and learning new things? 3. What are some key insights or tips that new workers should know? 4. How do I cope with workplace politics, drama, and feelings of injustice or favoritism, especially since I left my last volunteer position due to these issues? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
