I recently experienced a frustrating situation at Walmart. I was initially told I was mediocre in my role, and they decided to switch me to a different area. In this new position, I received a lot of praise and was told I was doing amazing work, even helping my coworkers by increasing their downtime. However, just a week later, I was switched back to my original position under the pretense that they were training new hires. Since then, I’ve noticed that despite my previous success, I’ve been receiving negative performance evaluations. It feels like they are trying to push me out while micromanaging everyone in my current role. I can’t help but wonder why they would replace me in a position I excelled at with new hires when I was clearly performing well.
